Chart notes
TRUE EFFECT stalked the pace, rallied on the turn to challenge, assumed command, drew clear and held well. DUBLIN DROP set the pace to the turn, continued along the rail when headed and won the battle for place while no threat to the winner. FIERY SONGBIRD was reluctant to load, broke awkwardly, chased the pace, bid between horses on the turn, hung late and settled for show. PISTOLPACKINJANET was never far back, lacked a rally in an outside trip and failed to menace. SET IN ICE broke out and bumped at the start, saved ground, lacked a bid and did not threaten. SARKBOW bumped at the start, dropped inside, saved ground and trailed the field.
