Chart notes
MEDIUM COOL firmly rated, widened on the final turn, remained well clear then just lasted while tiring late. PITTORE D'ORO trailed to midway on the final turn, swung wide and closed well just missing. LEGAL LIGHTNING saved ground, made a menacing bid on the final turn then faded in the lane. SPASTIC BID stalked the pacesetters outside, offered a brief rally on the final turn then gave way. ALWAYS IN PLAY settled wide off the leaders then weakened steadily. MADDIE'S GARDEN prompted the pace for half mile. led between calls then stopped.
