Chart notes

DRUNKLE reserved off the leaders through the first turn, was taken up off heels at the five-eighths pole racing between rivals, settled down the backside, closed ground on the turn again lacking racing room, angled clear turning for home and was along in time. DRIFTWOOD was well rated on a clear lead, dug-in when called upon turning for home and was outfinished in the final sixteenth settling for second best. R ADMIRAL stalked the pace to the far turn, rallied closing the gap on the bend, could not get passed the pacesetter and kept-on down the lane. THIRD DEGREE was slow early to be well off the rear of the field and rallied passed weaker rivals in the lane without impact. VIA DELLA SPIGA tracked the leaders to the far turn and faded from contention. GRAND MORNING prompted the pace for a half mile and steadily gave way.
