Chart notes

SCIOTO close up to the early pace then rated nicely approaching the turn, bid four wide to upper stretch, took command at the furlong marker, kicked clear to the final sixteenth and was ridden out to the wire. SILVER IS A GIFT tracked the early pace while saving ground, was well placed to the turn, came in tight while along the rail nearing the top of the lane then lacked room into upper stretch, found a seam along the inside into the final sixteenth, couldn't impact the winner late and held well for the place. SHELTOWEES BLING caught a bit in tight between foes leaving the gate, went up to contest the early pace three wide, pressed to the quarter marker and vied for the lead three deep into upper stretch, couldn't keep pace with the winner into the final furlong then was outfinished for the place, while holding safely for the show. SMOOTH WHISKEY broke alertly then took back and trailed early on, roused four to five wide to upper stretch, lacked the needed response to the final sixteenth and was outkicked for the minor awards. MONEY MAGIC showed speed from the gate and took early command, set a pressured pace from the two path nearing the quarter marker, overtaken to upper stretch, couldn't find more to the final sixteenth and gave way.
