Chart notes
SPRING SPINNING crowded then squeezed at the start and off slowly, settled off of the early pace, gained ground nearing the quarter marker then angled widest to upper stretch, responded into the final furlong, wore down foes in deep stretch and got up in the final jump to prevail. LADY LANCER came in at the start and crowded inner rivals, was forwardly placed to begin then tracked the early pace from the second flight, bid three wide at the quarter marker, rallied to the furlong pole and vied for the lead to the final sixteenth, took a narrow advantage in deep stretch, was nailed on the wire for the win and held for the place in a game runner-up effort. SISTERLITHIC sent to vie for the early lead, took command and set the pace from the inside heading into the turn, led into upper stretch then dug in passing the furlong pole, stubbornly battled to the final sixteenth, was outfinished for the win and place in deep stretch and was well clear of the rest for the show honors. MOTHER VOLGA broke out at the start and bothered outer rivals, was forwardly placed in the early stages then tracked the pace from the inside approaching the turn, moved to the two path along the turn and chased to the quarter pole, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. QUEEN LEXI pinched at the start and spotted the field to begin, trailed to the turn, was last to upper stretch and did not factor.
