Chart notes
WESTBOUND CAT was crowded and steadied after the start, rallied around the turn, assumed command into the stretch, drew off under urging and drifted out late. NAZEER was reluctant to load, set a pressured pace to the second turn, drew clear, was headed in the upper stretch, came up empty late and was no match for the winner. ROSEBANK RED trailed the field, raced far back early in an outside trip and offered a mild bid to be along for show. TIS WELL was never far off the pace, raced inside, angled out on the turn, went seven wide entering the stretch and lacked a closing response. WILLISTON WIZARD pressed the pace while racing in hand, was rated back, saved ground, dropped back into the turn and lacked a bid. ECLIPSENESS pressed the pace to the second turn, tired and gave way.
