Chart notes
SOCK IT TO ME crowded at the start and last away from the gate, made a steady gain two to three wide to the quarter marker, took command to upper stretch then kicked clear into the lane, drew off to the final sixteenth and was ridden out to win as much the best. HALLOWEEN unhurried early, trailed into the turn, angled to the three to four path and bid between rivals into upper stretch, was no match late for the winner but kept on to be a clear second. GOLDEN FLAG hopped at the start and was off slowly, settled while saving ground early on, advanced into the turn then caught in traffic at the quarter marker, angled widest to upper stretch, couldn't keep pace with the winner into the lane then was outkicked for second, while well clear for third. POWERIZED broke out at the start and crowded SOCK IT TO ME, showed good early speed and set a contested pace along the backstretch, carved out solid fractions while pressed to the quarter marker, overtaken into upper stretch, gave way in the final furlong. CENTENARY close up to the early pace, pressed the solid pace outside of POWERIZED heading to the turn, vied between rivals at the quarter marker, couldn't find more into upper stretch then tired in the drive.
