Chart notes
NESSO'S LASTHARRAH tracked from off the rail, drew closer approaching the turn, bid three wide with a quarter mile remaining, took over in upper stretch, kicked clear midstretch and held safely over a fast closing runner-up. SPEEDY WILSON trailed the field from off the rail, angled from the three path to the five path on the turn, finished full of run but could not get to the winner. SIMPLE SONG took a short lead three deep then outside a rival in the early going, maintained command in the two path on the turn, gave up the lead in upper stretch and flattened to third in the late stages. MR. DISRESPECTFUL pressed the leader from inside up the backstretch and around the turn, could not keep up with outer pair at the top of the lane and weakened in the furlong grounds. THE LAST STRAW pursued from off the pace in the early going, exited the backstretch in the two path, steered out and came four wide into the lane and failed to be a factor. SMOOTH CRUISEIN raced up close between rivals then dropped back a bit to stalk, lost ground three then two wide on the turn and weakened.
