Chart notes
WILLY D'S set a contested pace in the three path, edged clear into the stretch under energetic handling, responded resolutely and edged clear under his jubilant pilot. BANISHING broke inwardly bothering DRAGOON GUARD, forced the pace four wide, was outpaced into the stretch but stayed on well under steady pressure the secure the place spot. SKIPPYLONGSTOCKING raced in striking position while three wide, lost his position up the back stretch run, responded to right-handed pressure and rallied while three wide in the stretch. PRINCE OF POWER chased the pacesetters, got outpaced by the top pair on the third turn and kept on in the stretch. BARBADIAN RUNNER chased the pace in traffic, was angled in up the back stretch run, got urged to improve on the third turn and offered an insufficient response. GIGANTE settled well along the inside, advanced nicely on the third turn, loomed at the quarter pole but flattened out in the stretch. DRAGOON GUARD bothered at the start, was outpaced while four wide, lodged a brief bid on the third turn and came up empty. XCELLENT START off a step slowly, was void of speed and had a wide trip. BULLARD saved ground and showed little interest. FULL SCREEN dropped back early and was eased down in the stretch.
