Chart notes
BRAVARO chased the pace while three, moved into contention on the far turn, entered the stretch four wide, responded to his cue, battled his way to the front and held his stable mate safe under confident handling. LANGVAD dueled along the inside, dug in gamely when challenged turning for home but could not contain his stable mate. RYAN'S RUN forced the pace, got outpaced leaving the far turn and stayed on in the stretch. SOLITUDE DUDE raced forwardly along the inside, was asked to improve on the far turn and lacked the needed bid. CORONA DE ORO settled while three wide and lacked a substantive rally. TAB AT ZANZIBAR raced in striking position while four wide and never menaced. VOLENDAM saved ground and was always outrun. DUE TO AN ELECTRONIC TIMING MALFUNCTION, THE FINAL TIME WAS HAND TIMED BY THE STEWARDS.
