Chart notes
CITY BLOCKS pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three then four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path, took the lead before the the three-sixteenths pole, shook clear under the crop at the furlong marker, had the rider put to the crop away inside that marker, drifted in while drawing away near the sixteenth-pole and proved much the best under a hand-ride to the finish. SASSY PRINCESS settled on the outside, was asked in the three path on the turn, dropped to the two path late on that bend, spun back into the three path entering the stretch, chased into the final furlong then moved out and safely secured the place. MAJESTIC RETURN bobbled outward at the start then brushed with a foe and was corrected with a tug of the left rein, moved up to get the lead then showed the way off the inside, vied in the two then three path on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, spun into the stretch in the four path then lost the advantage to the winner and weakened but held the show. SWEET NOTE tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the four then five path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the six path and tired. PROUD FOOT was brushed at the start while off a half-step slow, settled near the back, was urged along in the two then three path on the turn, came into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. CONFIRMED STAR settled off the pace, dropped back under urging leaving the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and failed to respond. FUGITIVE STAR was eased back early then well placed just off the pace, saved ground while given her cue on the turn, chased in the two path into the stretch and came up empty. BAM'S BLISS KISS tossed her head at the start and was off extremely slow then ducked out, spotted the rest of the field many lengths, angled in while urged at the rear, tacked on to the back marker at the nine-sixteenths pole, rounded the turn in the five path and faltered then was eased but walked off.
