Chart notes

TRUE SHOT was keen on the heels behind runners getting the kickback early on, had the two path hard held wanting to go on with things down the backstretch, shifted out three wide looking for running room on the far turn at the quarter pole, moved to the four path with rivals on either side making a stretch run, burst sharply between horses at the seventy yard marker and got the nod at the wire winning the battle for the win from a determined outside rival. TURBO CHARGED was unhurried on the fence in the early going, made a bold move swooping around horses four wide at the quarter pole, shifted to the five path full of run on the outside through the stretch drive but just got outnodded for the win at the finish line with the winner finding just a bit more when surging between foes late. LOST STAR travelled three wide around the initial bend having only one runner beaten, remained well within striking distance going three deep close the the rear down the backside, rallied smartly circling horses three wide at the quarter marker, pounced taking over control outside from the pacesetter at the furlong pole but could not find more late and was unable to fend off the fast closing outside duo in deep stretch. AGILE DANCER was loose up top just off the rail in the first bend, slackened the tempo unchallenged down the back straightaway, saved ground holding on up front with rivals bearing down outside at the quarter pole, surrendered the lead inside by the furlong marker and faded in the final sixteenth of a mile to settle on the fringes in the end. RELOADED FORM had the inside position with another keeping a close eye on the pacesetter, waited on the fence behind the leader while nudged along at the five sixteenths pole, scraped paint looking for a seam turning for home, shifted out two wide at the furlong marker getting clear run but failed to fire in the late going. DONTGOBACKONURWORD contently sat on the outside watching the frontrunner in the early stages, moved in making a brief bid two wide having foes on either side up top at the quarter pole but had little to offer in the stretch drive giving way between runners three wide in upper stretch.
