Chart notes
HIPPY GILMORE set a pressured early pace, raced four wide through the turn, opened up and drew off as an easy winner. DERBY DAY ICE was void of any early speed, went four wide into the turn, angled to the inside, followed winner home and was second best. MISTER BAD EXAMPLE was rushed to press the early pace, advanced five wide through the turn and flattened out. GRACE MEYERS was reserved early, raced along the inside, angled out and offered no late rally. GIO ROSE was allowed to settle along the inside and faded. HOLY MO was unhurried early, raced four wide and retreated. MY AGAVERO dwelt at the start, was far back early and was eased.
