Chart notes
ROYAL COMPANION away in good order, forwardly placed into the turn behind the leader, continued to track that one through the bend, knifed out for room in upper straight, engaged the leader from the outside with a furlong to run, quickly drew clear and was geared down late to win ridden out. GYPSY LULLABY pressed the leader for three furlongs to that one's outside, took over entering the straight, showed the way past the furlong marker then offered brief resistance when the winner came calling, no match late. MOUNTAIN MAMBA void of early foot into the turn, continued lag through the bend, moved out a bit for the drive, staged a belated rally to finish up willingly and garner the show spot. COSTA LINDA off the pace and the inside, trailed nearing midstretch then picked off a couple of tiring rivals without posing a serious threat. CAKEY moved outside soon after the start, advanced into a striking position on the outside through the bend, flattened out in upper stretch then was floated out a bit by the winner approaching midstretch, continued to weaken. CYBER SPY unruly prior to the start, broke on top, set the pace along the inside for just over three furlongs, gave way when headed by the runner up exiting the turn.
