Chart notes
UNCLE ZEB pressed the pace, challenged inside entering the stretch, dueled for the lead and drew off near the sixteenth pole under urging. POWERED BY RAGE set the pace, responded when challenged to duel, was no match late and finished second best. BOLD STATEMENT was off a step slowly, bid along the rail on the turn, awaited room, shifted out at the top of the stretch, bid three wide, angled back in late and hung. BETTER DAY came out at the start, raced wide and lacked the needed late response. CHANCE ON ME bumped at the start, trailed the field and offered a mild bid to improve position. DRIVEN BY MAGIC broke out and bumped at the start, was taken outside, advanced to the turn, loomed a threat, swung out and weakened in the drive. LITTLE JERRY got away well, led briefly, showed speed to the turn and gave way.
