Chart notes
SHARONS BEACH settled off the dueling leaders inside a foe into the first turn, was guided out on that bend racing about five deep into the backstretch and steadily advancing, pressed the leading pair from the seven-sixteenths, put a short head in front at the quarter pole, dueled outside through the stretch and edged away late. WONDER MIST dueled outside early caught three to four wide, vied between foes on the far turn and through the stretch, fought on to secure the place but was outfinished for the top prize. BLACKOUT TIME dueled inside a rival but off the fence in the two to three path throughout, fought on but was outfinished. THE HELL WE DID was well-positioned early tucking in behind the dueling leaders outside a foe into the first turn, was steadily carried out by a rival on that bend, dropped back and tucked in a bit stalking the leading trio three to four deep, was encouraged along leaving the backstretch, came out six wide for the drive, kept on in the lane but needed more. HEDGE RATIO was bumped at the start, settled at the rear outside a foe, continued from off the inside, swung seven wide into upper stretch, ran on evenly. GRIND bumped a rival at the start, made an early advance inside on or just off the rail up the backstretch, faded in the stretch.
