Chart notes
NEOPHYTE set the pace under pressure to the quarter pole, kicked away turning for home, was never threatened in the lane and was geared down late as much the best. SURF'S UP stalked the pacesetters through the turn, rallied mildly in upper stretch to overtake the pace presser and stayed on late to hold the place. CHAPLIN slow early to trail the field and made a steady advance leaving the quarter pole to show some interest in the lane while just missing the place. FAST FIXER raced mid-pack throughout failing to offer a closing response. JAVA BUZZ pressed the pace through the turn and gave way in the final furlong. MAITRE D chased the pace early and faded to the rear as a non-threat on the bend.
