Chart notes
JAS broke alertly and sent for the early lead, set a prompted pace from the inside into the turn, turned away CONROY nearing the top of the lane and kicked clear into the stretch, kept to task to the final sixteenth, held sway to deep stretch and won going away. KURITA'S FOLLY settled mid-pack while outside of rivals, roused three to four wide for the stretch drive, rallied to the furlong grounds, couldn't impact the winner late but held safely for second. SEMINAL forwardly placed while three wide, tracked the moderate pace to the half-mile pole, outkicked into the stretch, kept on to the final sixteenth and was a clear third. FAMILY CREST forwardly placed early, tracked the pace from the second flight and between rivals, chased into the stretch, couldn't sustain a run to the final furlong and flattened out late. CONROY close up to the early pace, prompted the moderate pace two wide into the turn, turned away into upper stretch and gave way in the drive. UNCLE ANTHONY off slow, settled two wide to the turn, angled three to four wide into the stretch, no late bid. SILVER JEWEL bumped at the start and off a bit slowly, settled outside of rivals then was caught three to four wide along the turn, ran in pursuit while widest into the stretch and did not rally late. BAYTOWN DA VINCI never far back early on, settled while saving ground into the turn, got caught in traffic along the bend then approaching the quarter pole, shifted to the two path to upper stretch, couldn't muster a response in the drive and gave way. PATRIOTS QUEST pinched at the start, settled to the turn, coaxed from the two path upper stretch, shifted to the four path for the drive and did not factor. GO VICTORY well placed while saving ground, lacked the needed response to upper stretch then tired in the drive. MAMBO MAN settled inside, saved ground to stretch, shifted out for the drive, no threat late. KILBARRY got shuffled back a bit leaving the start, lacked early speed, trailed to upper stretch and did not get involved.
