Chart notes
FANTASTIC DAY saved ground racing in the back of the field, angled our nearing the eighth pole to be six-wide and was up with a rush late. GOLDEN RIVER vied for the lead with SMILING GOODBYE from along the inside, responded when asked but was unable to resist FANTASTTIC DAY late. FIREWALKER saved ground while being allowed to settle, angled out to come four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. BALADI broke in the air to get away behind his field then was unhurried, came fojr-wide into the stretch and rallied late. SMILING GOODBYE vied for the early lead from between horses and weakened during the drive. WOOD CEILING was two-wide racing in the middle of the field, came five-wide into the stretch and failed to be a factor. TOUGHERTHANTHEREST prompted the early pace while three-wide and tired.
