Chart notes
FLY COLIBRI seized the early lead and maintained a clear margin while under steady left and right-handed encouragement. PORRES lacked any early speed went five to six wide through th early stages, then finished with good interest to gain the second spot. DAD'S LADY SEVEN got caught five-wide on the first turn, raced mid-pack down the backstretch, was in range of the leader on the last turn, but was unable to keep up in the late stages and was passed for the place. DON'T TELL JEAN was last away, saved ground to the stretch but lacked a finishing kick. KINGDOMS LEGACY steadied into the first turn while a bit rank, pulled up along the rail to get closer to the leaders, then faltered in the stretch. SUMMERLAND BEACH got crowded and pinched back at the start, dropped back to last after a fairly even start, then outfinished a couple of tired rivals to improve in the stretch. TREASURED MEANS went four wide into the first turn, remained wide through the second turn and lacked a rally. WAR NEVERMORE chased the pacesetter to the far turn and tired. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE START AND FIRST TURN, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. HAND TIMED.
