Chart notes
FOREST FLASH showed speed from the outside, had a clear lead on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch was much the best. SILENT MIRACLE showed speed from the inside, was a factor on the turn and from the five path at the top of the stretch held place. GLOBETROTTING was in touch, hustled along on the turn and from the eight path at the top of the stretch finished well. HARDWARE GAP was in range and roused on the but from the seven path at the top of the stretch was no real threat. STAR SCHOLAR was unhurried early and raced evenly from the inside on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch had no late kick. SILENT PATSY was off the pace and showed little in a dull effort. THELONIOUS was well back and showed nothing while outrun. GUS'S GAMBLE was hustled early but chased on the turn and came up empty.
