Chart notes
FLETCHER BAY led inside and held sway while kept to task. PALM TREE was squeezed back at the start, stalked the pace in the three path but couldn't get to the winner. GAMBLERS TAIL saved ground, angled to the four path in early stretch and then lacked a late bid. STOLEN POWER stalked the pace in the three path, was bumped at the top of the stretch when GAMBLERS TAIL came out and then offered a mild late bid. REB was squeezed back at the start, raced inside and faded in the stretch. HORSE OF THE SEA was impeded at the start and faded in the stretch. MUSIC THEORY bore out at the start, stalked the pace in the three path, bid near the half mile pole and gave way on the far turn. THE STEWARDS DECLINED TO TAKE ACTION FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF REB AGAINST GAMBLERS TAIL ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN EARLY STRETCH.
