Chart notes

EARL'S OUTLAW was off slowly, advanced along the rail to the turn, angled out, swung wide into the stretch, closed willingly and wore down his rivals to get up in the final strides. SUMMER CYCLONE held a clear lead to the turn, set the pace, had the rider lose his whip near the sixteenth pole, led to the final strides and was outfinished in a good effort. ADAM FIVE OH was never far back, angled out and rallied on the turn, challenged for the lead entering the stretch, vied past the eighth pole and was unable to sustain his bid. SOMETHINTOBELIEVEN angled in on the turn, bid inside, altered course near the sixteenth pole and finished with good energy. SENOR RUBEN chased the pace to the turn and flattened out. BIG SKOOKUM raced mid pack towards the outside to the turn and failed to threaten in an even effort. MIKE'S LAST CALL was not a factor. HOLDEN MICHAEL dropped inside, bid along the rail on the turn and lacked a stretch response. PLAYGROUND WARRIOR was unprepared and threw his head at the start, trailed the field and showed little.
