Chart notes
SECRETARY OF WAR stalked the pace to the far turn, rallied four wide to assume command on the bend, opened a clear advantage turning for home and widened in the lane while ridden out as much best. KEYSTONE HANK slow early to be the distant trailer, closed the gap on the far turn and rallied eight wide with a belated bid to be up for the place in deep stretch. LIGHTNING CHARLIE rated in mid-pack, rallied to the front of the chasing pack in upper stretch and finished evenly to be best of the rest. I'M NO ANGEL taken in hand to track into the first turn, raced close up down the backstretch, lost postion on the turn and lacked a closing kick going evenly. DUEL FUEL pressed the pace into the final turn and weakened coming home. YADI set the pace under steady pressure to the three-eighths pole and tired fading from contention. WICKED FINN reserved off the pace for the first half mile, rallied five wide to threaten on the turn and gave way in the stretch.
