Chart notes
KHOZY'S OPERETTA broke alertly, showed the way up the backstretch and into the turn in the two path, shook clear of the other speed when straightened for home, held the runner up comfortably safe in the final furlong while being kept to task. CHARMING LEAH back off the pace while well off the inside, four wide through the turn, roused for the drive, could do little with the winner in the run to the wire to prove second best. MISS COUNTRY broke back, raced back off the pace outside, four wide through most of the turn, mild interest through the lane to be along for the third spot. GOTTA SCOOT within striking distance in the second flight well wide, four to five wide by midway on the turn, lost some ground to the winner as a result, went evenly through the stretch in lacking a closing kick. HAMMYDOWN pressed the winner from the outside for three furlongs, faltered when the real running began entering the stretch. LAURA'S TREAT behind the leaders while along the inside into the turn, fell back in some traffic, continued to fade down the lane,. POCKET THREES off a beat slow, raced three wide into and through the run, remained back and was never involved.
