Chart notes
JOYOUS SONG jumped out to the early lead, was traveling well through the turn with the rider sitting still, responded when asked in the stretch and held clear under steady handling. BRAQUET settled at the back to the outside of MISSY SIXTYSIX, moved up together with that one through the turn, then put in a good late run to gain the place. MISSY SIXTYSIX was last away, stayed to the inside, closed ground late in tandem with BRAQUET but was too late. ITTY BIDDY CITY chased the pace in second position from the outside, then weakened in deep stretch and was overtaken near the finish. MIDNIGHT FLIGHT raced well back through the early stages, came out three-wide for the stretch run, and finished evenly. NORMANDY LIFE raced mid-pack, then had little to offer in the stretch and faded.
