COLE'S VALENTINE unhurried to be the trailer down the backside, rallied quickly five wide to engage the leaders midway on the bend, dueled with the runner-up in the lane and prevailed in a determined drive. CAPARBIA tracked the leaders to the final turn, moved in tandem with the winner to vie through the lane and was outfinished in a good effort. REWARDANN'SWARRIOR pressed the pace to the final bend took the lead midway around the turn, could not match the top pair in the lane and kept-on as best of the rest. WHY CHRIS WHY set the pace under constant pressure to midway on the turn and weakened coming home. RUGGED SMILE was well placed in contention for the first half mile and steadily faded. PALISADE failed to menace never posing a threat.
