MR PERCY (IRE) tracked the pace along the inside jumping well with the exception of one late leap at fence three, remained patiently handled until placed to urging once clear of the final flight, maintained position along the inside through the final turn, rallied inside the final furlong to join a pair or rivals to the inside and was just up gamely in the final jumps to the finish. SIENNOIS (IRE) raced just off the inside forwardly placed early on when SWEET WILL led through the first two jumps, got guided out headstrong five paths off the dogs trying to throttle down his eagerness and took over the front near fence three, remained three wide through that second turn before tucking to the two path for jump four and thereafter until tucked inside after flight seven, came under challenge from SWEET WILL toward fence eight, cleared that and the final flight and came under urging in the flat, dug in occupied with SWEET WILL fighting head to head through the length of the stretch and was between foes late and nailed on the wire by the top one. SWEET WILL (IRE) led briefly through the first two fences along the inside and then tracked the aforementioned foe in closest aim when that rival took over at fence three, jumped well to maintain position, issued a challenge and helped quicken the pace into fence eight, cleared that one and then final flight taking to the two path through the final turn in the flat, dug in under a drive fighting on through the stretch and was along clear for the show honors. After a spontaneous test jump of the fence of his own accord when brought to take a look prior to the start COUTACH (GB) saved ground at the tail of the field, jumped late at fences two and four and then jumped better thereafter, altered in at the final flight inside the dogs momentarily when LITTLE TRILBY fell, but extracted himself prior to the next cone getting back on track in the flat, went three wide through the final turn under encouragement and kept on to the finish. L'IMPERATOR (FR) two to three wide in pursuit from mid pack, jumped well to maintain position and ground, came under urging in the flat, offered up a bid a furlong from home, then flattened out in the late stages. SMART UNCLE settled tracking just off the inside and then along the inside from mid pack, jumped well to maintain position and ground, came under urging at flight eight, tired in the flat. LITTLE TRILBY (GB) tracked the pace just off the inside briefly and then along the inside in pursuit from mid pack, was fifth when falling at the final flight, got apprehended by the outrider in the stretch, was attended to and vetted on the course and was subsequently transported off the course via the equine ambulance.
