Chart notes
BRAVERTHANUBELIEVE was carried in while showing speed then taken back off the pace under restraint before switching out outside the five-eighths pole, made a bid outside of the leader with five furlongs to run, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead into upper stretch then responded well when set down, shook clear inside the three-sixteenths pole, was given one pop of a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, switched to a left-handed crop inside that marker and was given one more pop then proved much the best while kept to the task under a hand-ride to the finish. IRISH FORTUNE broke out then was corrected by the rider and hustled, angled in while going to the front, was challenged to her outside with five furlongs to run, vied in the two path on the far turn then was asked under threat, lost the advantage to the winner into upper stretch and proved no match while able to get the place. SWEETEST PRINCESS bumped with QUEENS CAT early, settled off the pace, went from the two path to the four path under urging on the turn, came into the stretch in the six path and improved to garner the show. KAY CUP broke out and bumped with GRACE AND GRIT, moved up under urging, saved ground on the turn, shifted to the three path into the stretch then moved further out under a drive and lacked the needed response while able to get the last spot in the superfecta. GRACE AND GRIT was bumped at the start, moved out while urged along at the rear, went around the turn in the three path, turned into the stretch in the five path and failed to threaten. QUEENS CAT came in at the start then bumped with GRACE AND GRIT, bumped with SWEETEST PRINCESS early, was urged off the pace while climbing, dropped from the three path to the two path late on the turn and came up empty. MISCHIEF LADY chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn and tired. RINA'S REVENGE was urged along on the outside then moved in behind horses, traveled around the turn in the four path and failed to respond.
