Chart notes
MODERN MISS came out at the start, advanced three deep on the turn, bid for the lead turning for home and drew off under steady encouragement. TANGANYIKA gained a two wide lead on the turn, failed to handle the winner and was best of the others. THE PRETTY ONE showed speed along the rail, drifted off the fence entering the stretch and weakened inside rivals. CONSTANT CHATTER broke alertly, saved ground on the turn, hugged the inner rail in the stretch drive and failed to rally. UNKEPT PROMISES circled horses on the turn and lacked a rally.
