Chart notes
WIND FLOWER chased the top two leaders from the four path coming around the hill then swung out around that pair while they continued dueling into the upper and drew well clear from the rest while shifting a little inwards. CIVETTA broke sharply ahead of most of the field and briefly considered setting the pace against SHE'S A TEMPEST before settling back into chasing distance in the two path, then tipped out coming through the upper to the outside of RUN CAMILA RUN and showed a late kick just getting the place award. RUN CAMILA RUN rushed up early and dueled the leader from the three path coming around the hill and looked eager while pushing into the upper and kept on with it's bid after being passed by the winner but was just outfinished for the place award. TURINO raced in the mid-pack about four wide off the rail and made a brief bid coming down the lane but lacked a strong kick and settled for the minor awards. SHE'S A TEMPEST sent for the pace from the inside and dueled with RUN CAMILA RUN through the hill and continued on down into the stretch but weakened while being passed by multiple rivals. ROCKET RANIA was void of early speed and raced behind it's rivals from the three path then inched out coming off the bend to be widest in the stretch and made a mild gain but was no real threat. READY TO JAM settled back in the three path through the early stages of the race then came out a bit off the hill and into the upper but made no bid. BAYTOWN STORM raced at the back of the pack saving ground along the inside but had nothing to show in the stretch.
