Chart notes
COAST HIGHWAY tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, challenged entering the stretch and kicked clear. BOMBAY bobbled slightly leaving the gate, recovered to press the pace on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and kept on to the wire. TIZOC led the way on the inside through the opening quarter, dueled while saving ground around the bend and could not go with the winner in the final furlong but chased the winner on to the finish. NOVA KNICKS veered out at the start, raced off the pace up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and made no bid. STRIKE POINT settled in the middle of the pack on the outside through the early going, came around the turn in the three path and faded in the stretch.
