Chart notes
ROXTON saved ground, lodged a prolonged inside bid beginning at the five-eighths pole, responded to pressure and edged clear late. KITTEN'S PLOY came out at the start, chased the pace while five wide, was urged on the far turn and rallied in the stretch. WINNING SONG void of speed, commenced a bid on the far turn, produced a belated rally and was gaining at the finish. MR FLOWERS gained the early lead, was challenged on the far turn and worn down in the stretch. MISTER WOODFORD stalked, challenged the pacesetter on the far turn and came up empty in the stretch. GOOD FRIDAY MAN failed to threaten. WEST MOUNTAIN was forwardly placed between foes and lacked a rally. MICKEY SHILLELAGH was forwardly placed along the inside and faltered.
