Chart notes
CHANDON was forwardly placed sitting just off the early leader, came under a ride two wide late on the turn, responded under right handed pressure, cleared the lead at the sixteenth pole and finished going away. TRAVELIN WITCH took over the lead soon after the start and angled to the inside, set the pace up the backstretch and held firm around the turn, saved ground turning for home, roused for more just off the inside, could not hold off the challenge from the winner near mid-stretch, got collared for the lead and had to settle for clearly second best. KIKI KRAZY tracked the top pair around the turn, moved two to three wide around the turn, was no late match for the top pair and churned on for a share. SHEZAWILDSTORM was off a step slow at the start, raced in the back although not too far back in the opening quarter, failed to progress when called upon around the turn and retreated.
