Chart notes
STROLLSMISCHIEF set the pace up the backstretch, held firm around the turn, roused for more near the furlong marker, responded willingly and pulled away. PURSE THIEF tracked the early leader, coaxed two wide going by the quarter pole, ran on into the lane and held place. KEEPINITREAL was allowed to settle in early stages, saved ground around the turn, urged along the rail at the head of the lane and just missed place. CROOKED AS CAN BE raced off the top trio in the opening quarter, flattened three wide around the turn, angled to the two path past upper stretch and lacked the needed response for serious impact. DRESS GOOD tracked the early pace, was ridden three wide around the turn, came four paths wide into upper stretch and failed to kick on. TRAFALGAR'S HERO raced in the back, saved ground, urged inside at the head of the lane and lacked a needed rally. BENEDICICI bumped at the start and failed to move into contention.
