TIGER LINE broke in under coaxing at the start and was corrected, showed the way in hand along the inside under increased pressure from NIGHT SKY to the outside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole before being set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, inched away to the eighth pole, dug in and held well to the finish. FORECHECK three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, offered up late foot to close in in tandem with a pair of rivals and was up for the place honors on the wire. KINBOSHI chased four then three wide coming under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, angled six then five wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish outside a pair while up for the show honors in a blanket finish behind the winner. CARPET CITY grew a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, brushed the near side stall at the start and then brushed SITTING ON A WIN, chased two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked inside into the turn and came under three intermittent wrangling holds when attempting to get out off the rail, continued the corrections through to the five-sixteenths pole, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and went three to four wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly between rivals to the finish. NIGHT SKY coaxed from the gate, raced three to four paths off the rail in closest aim of the leader down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the turn advancing to press the pace from the outside, swung three to four wide for home, dug in running on to the finish but was outfinished in the late stages. ROAD TO PURFECTION chased along the inside coaxed along with five-sixteenths remaining, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. SITTING ON A WIN grew a bit fractious in the gate just after CARPET CITY did, broke in at the start bumping KWAN and then got brushed by CARPET CITY breaking inwards, chased just off the inside under encouragement from the five-sixteenths marker, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch and made no headway. MASS CONFUSION chased just off the inside coming under a ride near the quarter pole, angled five wide into upper stretch and tired. JUDYSDANCIN TONITE chased along the inside ridden along with five-sixteenths to run, cornered three wide into upper stretch, made no impact and was eased home through the stretch to the finish. KWAN got bumped at the start by SITTING ON A WIN, chased three then two wide pushed along from the five-sixteenths pole, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch, trailed and was eased home to the end.
