Chart notes
METALLICAN , bumped at the break, recovered and rushed up to the inside of rivals to take over, went clear into the turn, entered the lane about two wide, dug in when confronted inside the sixteenth pole and proved resolute under asking. ENGAGED IS BETTER stalked the winner three wide, ranged up past mid stretch to challenge, continued on gamely but was kept at bay. PIG TRAIL had speed between foes, shifted in around the turn, chased on past mid stretch, faded but had enough left to save the show. BUDTHEGREATONE broke inward and bumped with the winner, was coaxed along two wide then needed more between horses. CLOCKBUSTER , three to four wide chasing, lacked a late response.
