Chart notes
LINE ASTERN saved ground setting the early pace, opened a clear lead nearing the quarter pole then drifted out during the drive and maintained a safe advantage. THUNDER TOWN prompted LINE ASTERN racing three-wide but was unable to match strides with that one but proved to be second best. THE TIPSY CROW was prominently placed while saved ground and finished well in a steady effort. LUMPSTER was prominently placed racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. CROSS POWER was off a step slow then dropped back and was pulled up nearing the five-eighths pole and was removed from the track via the equine ambulance.
