FRYE ISLAND (IRE) lost footing at the break to be away slowly, raced back and inside, cut the corner into the lane when advancing, rail bid inside the pacesetter past the furlong marker, late duel, dug in late to prevail. BLESSINGS BESTOWED forwardly placed outside, came three wide out of the turn, bothered slightly by a lugging leader upper stretch, set down for the drive, moved closer late, not enough for the winner in the waning strides. RENNIE shuffled back a bit in some early traffic, raced back in the two path into the turn, waited in some traffic trouble midway on the turn, two path and between horses into the lane, ran on and finished up willingly to be clear of the others. LAUNCH CONTROL in mid pack, traffic in the turn, steadied briefly in tight quarters, fell back into the stretch and came again late to also be going well at the end. HOLY JOANIE broke on top, set the pace just off the inside, continued to hold the advantage into the stretch, lugged out briefly when straightened for home, was righted, continued to lead past the furlong marker then faltered. HORSETRON SUPREME off the pace outside, moved closer with a mild middle move four wide through the turn, failed to sustain that advance in the drive. LET FLY lacked speed while also well out in the course, four wide as well through the turn, improved a bit through the lane with a mild rally outside. ESOOOO in mid pack early, moved out a bit when asked around some traffic midway on the bend, lacked a closing kick. EL BAILADOR closest to the leader along the inside, steadied when in a bit tight rail midway on the bend, regrouped to retain a forward position with a furlong remaining then gave way. SOMETIME broke back, trailed much of the way and was never involved. SINETIC in the second flight while racing three wide, steadied in midturn in traffic, faded through the lane to trail home.
