Chart notes
BOLD AMBITION challenged three across near the half pole, assumed command, drew clear entering the stretch and held under urging. GAMETIME GLADIATOR raced close to the pace, angled out near the half pole, rallied into the turn, challenged three wide, dropped back entering the stretch, lacked the needed rally and finished second best. ENGLISH PAINTER was unhurried early and trailed the field, advanced towards the outside to the second turn to get in range, had little left for the drive and was along for show while no threat to the top two. STARSHIP MOCHA was away alertly, set the pace while racing in hand, was headed near the half pole, tired into the turn, dropped back and gave way. CONCEALED CARRY chased the pace early, moved up to challenge between horses near the half pole, dropped back entering the stretch, stopped and was not urged late.
