Chart notes
STORMY LENT was forwardly placed, moved up four-wide to join the leaders at the quarter pole, came in slightly to brush with FAVORED SON at the three-sixteenths pole then dueled for the lead from that point and was all out to prevail. TIZ DYNAMIC vied with IM OK racing two-wide, came out to brush with FAVORED SON at the three-sixteenths pole then dueled for the lead from that point in a game effort;. FAVORED SON was allowed to settle, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole, was brushed from both sides by STORMY LENT and TIZ DYNAMIC at the three-sixteenths pole then altered course to the outside and finished willingly. SILVER ICE settled in the middle of the field, came five-wide into the srtetch and weakened evenly late. ILLUSION OF CHOICE broke iin the was unjrried, came three-wide into the stretc and failed to seriously threaten/. CATCH A BREEZE saved ground racing in the back of the field and failed to be a factor. I'M OK vied for the early lead with TIZ DYNAMIC and tired. THE STEWARD CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT AROUND THE THREE-EIGHTHS POLE AND RULED THAT THERE WAS CONTACT AT THE POINT BUT IT DID NOT COST FAVORED SON A BETTER FINISH POSITION AND MADE NO CHANGED IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
