Chart notes
BELLA JAK hustled away from the gate early, settled in hand to track the leaders, rallied four wide in upper stretch, was carried out and brushed late in the drive by the runner-up and prevailed to be up in the final strides. FACET stalked the pace into the turn, rallied three wide to engage the pacesetter at the quarter pole, dueled through the lane wearing down the leader to take a late lead while drifting out into the winner and was nailed in the shadow of the wire. STARSHIP VENGEANCE reserved to race mid-pack along the inside, commenced a rally four wide turning for home, angled to the inside clear of rivals in mid-stretch and was gaining fast late to just miss. KATE THE SMATE dueled on the lead from the inside through the turn, shook off the presser at the top of the lane, battled the runner-up through the stretch and was outkicked late while beginning to tire. KHOZY ME UP pinched back at the break, raced near the rear through the turn, angled eight wide and rallied well to be gaining late. DERBYTIME D set a pressured pace from two wide to the head of the lane, fought on to midway down the lane and gave way late. AMERICAN POPSTAR was not a threat. MINDFUL GRACE was not a factor.
