Chart notes
COLONEL YORKE was void of early speed then angled five wide into the turn and made a sustained rally to get up in the final strides. E LION settled early then waited along the inside through the turn, lacked room behind horses at the 1/8 pole then split runners late in the stretch, led late but was caught on the wire. MOR VICTORY assumed command and set the pace, was all out into the stretch and was run down late. DIMATIC rated in the second flight early then made a steady advance while three wide, made a bid between horses in the stretch but was outfinished. SALINE RIVER got away alertly then rated just off the pace while under a tight hold before making a rail bid in the stretch but faltered late.
