Chart notes

ORI went to the front, showed the way on the inside, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole, came under a drive in upper stretch, was challenged by the runner-up near the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. GRISELDA (FR) was taken in hand early then reserved in the two path, moved out on the far turn, reached the five path late on that bend, had the rider have a bit of trouble getting the crop from his right-hand to his left-hand in upper stretch, drifted in near the furlong marker, gained to make a bid coming to the sixteenth-pole, fought outside the winner to the finish and missed but was clear for the place. BERTRILLE was hustled from the gate, traveled around the first turn in the two path, was reserved off the pace, moved from the two path to the four path on the far turn, had the rider have some trouble getting the crop from her outside hand to the inside hand in upper stretch and finished willingly for the show. SALT PRINCESS was hustled from the gate then taken in hand early, saved ground under reserve near the middle of the field, was roused inside the five-sixteenths pole, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed kick. RACING COLORS went around the first turn in the three path, settled outside without cover, was urged along passing the half-mile pole then angled in, saved ground on the far turn and failed to rally. SARATOGA SNOW dropped back early, saved ground on the first turn, settled well off the pace, was urged along in the two then three path on the far turn, swung out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to threaten. LOTUS PETAL established a prominent position early, raced in the three path on the first turn, was rated on the outside, came under urging in the four path on the far turn and failed to respond. HIDDEN PRESENCE was last away, raced inside to the two path while well back in the field, came into the stretch in the three path, moved out in the final furlong and was no factor. HAUNTRESS was hustled from the gate, stalked the pace on the outside in the two to three path, chased on the far turn and came up empty. SWEET DUTCHESS saved ground while rank under restraint on the first turn, was rated on the inside, tipped off the rail leaving the backstretch, was asked in the two then three path on the far turn, dropped back into upper stretch, steadied while falling out of contention inside the three-sixteenths pole and had nothing left. Y'ALLREADYFORTHIS angled in at the rear, saved ground on the turns, came into the stretch in the three path and showed little.
