Chart notes

GAGLIARDI stalked the pacesetter, forged clear around the far turn and held sway under steady pressure in the stretch. QUOKKA settled well, advanced on the far turn, entered the stretch three wide and offered a bid to secure the place spot. VAST HORIZONS reserved early, moved closer on the far turn and stayed on evenly in the stretch. STREAMSONG awkward at the start, trailed, commenced a bid on the far turn and displayed late interest. GARDEN LEAVE broke outwardly, was outpaced but showed some mild late interest in the stretch. STITZY was forwardly placed and failed to menace. LEADING set a demanding pace, was checked when retreating at the three-eighths pole and dropped back.
