Chart notes
WEST COAST BULL dueled with CONRAD MEADOWS from along the inside, drifted out inside the sixteenth pole and was fully extended to prevail. BABY WAYLON was unhurried, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished fast. CONRAD MEADOWS dueled for the lead from WEST COAST BULL from the outside, came four-wide into the stretch then came in slightly nearing the eighth pole and finished well in a steady effort. PESO was prominent early racing two-wide, dropped back slightly on the turn, came three-wide into the stretch, was briefly in tight nearing the eighth pole, angled out and finished wlllingly. D K'S CROWN was allowed to settle while saving ground, came two-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS CONCLUDED THAT ALL RUNNERS HAD AN EAUAL OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE THEIR POSITION AND MADE NO CHANGE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
