Chart notes
ROBIN RACER was reserved off the pace, rallied four-wide into the stretch, took the lead nearing the eighth pole and edged clear late. RONDELITO prompted ADIOS JOJO early racing two-wide, inherited the lead when that one was pulled up, responded during the drive and held on gamely for the place. HE'S NOT TALKING saved ground while being allowed to settle, was bumped by ADIOS JOJO nearing the five-eighths pole while that one was being pulled up, then worked his was forward to offer a bid from along the inside entering the stretch and flattened out during the drive. CANDY CABALLO was for-wide on the first turn then continued to be prominently placed racing along the outside, came three-wide into the stretch and weakened. ELDER MACK was forwardly placed racing three-wide early and tired. ADIOS JOJO saved ground setting the early pace, appeared to take a bad step leaving the three-quarter pole and was pulled up and removed from the track via the equine ambulance. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING OF THE RACE BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IIN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
