ROYAL MERIT away alertly, stalked close up outside, bid on the turn, took charge passing the quarter pole, responded when roused and pulled away under urging. EXCELLION chased three wide, chased outside on the turn, rallied outside in the stretch and earned the place award. BATTLE LOU was bumped at the start, chased inside, chased on the turn, raced between horses into the stretch and rallied mildly. PRISMATIC LIGHT chased between rivals early on, chased on the turn and tired. DRAFT RIOTS was bumped at the start, set the pace on the inside, dueled with the winner on the turn and gave way in the stretch.
