Chart notes
AMBERJACK set the pace racing with a clear lead, raced well off the inside turning for home, responded when roused at the top of the lane and drew clear under urging. SERGEANT CAPPS chased close up outside, chased on the turn, raced between horses into the stretch and dug in gamely to earn the place spot. COMPLEX MUSIC chased inside, then three wide on the turn, rallied outside rivals into the stretch and was outfinished for second. COCKEYED was off a bit slow, raced off the pace inside, chased on the turn and passed tired rivals. EMPIRE SKY was bumped at the start, raced off the pace inside, chased on the turn and tired. MARBLE HALL was bumped at the start, raced off the rail, off the pace, chased on the turn and faded.
