Chart notes
MARKET TIMING established the front and showed the way in hand along the inside through moderate splits, remained patiently handled until set down taking the inside route into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, shied out under a left handed crop forcing his barn mate IRON SIGHT to alter out, dug in and held well to the finish repelling that one to the wire. IRON SIGHT settled tracking the front just off the inside from near the rear of the field, angled to the rail inside three furlongs to run and advanced under coaxing before spinning three wide into upper stretch, rallied and altered out a path as the top one shied out just inside the eighth pole, dug in gamely to the finish but was ultimately rebuffed on the line. NOBLE FACTOR two to three wide in pursuit, got altered four wide nearing the five-sixteenths as OMAHA STORM backed away three wide at that juncture, swung five wide into upper stretch and kept on to the finish. NOBLE DYNASTY tracked the pace along the inside and then just off the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths marker, took the inside route into upper stretch and kept on to the finish. HEATHGUARD tracked the front just off the inside steadily advancing to be in contention three furlongs from home, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, spun three wide into upper stretch and weakened. CLEAR CONSCIENCE settled just off the pace two to three wide in pursuit, came under urging with five-sixteenths to go, angled five wide into upper stretch and tired. FROSTED OVER saved ground at the tail of the field, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, took the inside route into upper stretch and made no impact. OMAHA STORM raced two to three wide in closest aim of the leader, retreated with five-sixteenths to run and went nine to ten wide into upper stretch and was eased home to the finish.
